Ordering a Made-to-Measure Door Online
When you are ordering bespoke doors, the most essential part of the process is measuring the doors correctly. All you need is a tape measure and somewhere to record each measurement. Once you have your tools, you can get started.
1. Choose the style
Perhaps the most exciting step, choosing your new style and design. Browse our custom door range to find your perfect style and material. Whether Oak, walnut, grey or white primed, you can choose a door to fit your aesthetic.
2. Measure the dimensions
Once you have chosen your door style, confirm the required finished door size with your joiner before ordering. Measure the door carefully. Record height, width and thickness in millimetres, allowing for the fitting requirements of your opening.
Measure the door itself, excluding the frame or casing, and check each dimension at several points. If measurements differ, ask your joiner to confirm the finished size rather than choosing the largest measurement automatically. Record each door separately, as sizes can vary.

3. Input your measurements into the custom size option on the product page
Once you have chosen your preferred style and dimensions, simply enter the measurements into our custom size option on the product page of your choice. We can take your order simultaneously if you order a single or multiple doors. If you have any questions, our team will be happy to help, whether it's to do with style choice or our bespoke door service; we are on hand throughout the whole process.
4. CAD drawings will be produced and sent over to you for approval
Following confirmation of your order, we request the factory drawings for your approval before production. Check every door’s dimensions, thickness, style, finish and glazing carefully, and raise any questions before signing off.
5. Doors are manufactured to your preference
If you are happy with the quote and the sizes and style approved, we will give our manufacturers the go-ahead to start work on your bespoke doors.
6. Allow for manufacture and delivery after drawing approval
Lead times depend on the manufacturer and specification. Deanta bespoke doors typically take an estimated 14 weeks from drawing approval; other suppliers have different timescales. Check with us before ordering if you have a deadline. Standard delivery is £55, with free standard delivery over £750, subject to delivery terms.
